The Painted Desert

imageFeb. 29, 2016 – So we exited Grand Canyon National Park by the East entrance, and what do we behold almost immediately?

We find ourselves descending into the Navajo Nation Reservation and the Painted Desert. Wow!

Like so much of the American Southwest, it’s hard to capture the grandeur, the splendor, and the subtle colors, in a photo.

I’m so happy you have each other to share this adventure with. Love to both of you. Last time I made the east west trip, I was with 2 ladies, heading on hwy 10 to Patagonia, AZ to the Elders Conference at Tree of Life Center with Dr. and Mrs. Gabriel Cousens. I love to drive, especially on 10 (66).

Thank you, Flora. We’ll see you in a couple of weeks. I’ll email you when we’ve set our next travel dates. Right now we’re enjoying our retreat on the farm in Georgia.
