Larra tours Makena with a native-style guide.
This was the native garb for swimming, surfing, hanging around town, for everything in Hawaii before the Missionaries came.
Jim: Today I took Larra around the old abandoned Hawaiian village on the far side of Little Beach.
You can’t see it on the aerial photo because it’s under the kiawe trees.
I wore native garb to make the tour more authentic.
Larra loved it, even though she insisted on wearing haole clothes. LOL
