Aug. 23rd, 2016 – The next section of the museum dealt with the people of Nebraska, the pioneers, settlers, Indians and their history.

20160823_135242The also had a featured traveling presentation about shipwrecks. I got a kick out of finding some of Mel Fisher’s treasure from the Atocha. I knew Mel when I lived in Key West, and lived there when they found the treasure, after years of searching.

Apparently the tie-in was sunken ships in the Missouri river. LOL. It was very popular with the museum visitors, though.
