Sept. 13, 2016 – In North Vancouver Larra took me to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, where she worked for 25 years.
Stepping Back in Time
On our way back to the ferry we stopped in McDonald’s to use the washroom. When Larra came out she ran into an old co-worker from the insurance company.
For five minutes they chatted, in English, sort of, a lingo and litany of activities and people, of which I had no idea of what was going on. But it seemed to please Larra that she run into an old co-worker, which made me happy.
Larra commented later how that life seemed like lifetimes, like entire worlds ago – like centuries instead of only a couple of years. It was, spiritually.
